Wim Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") regards the personal information of customers, users, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "data subjects") who use the website (http://www.wimcorp.co.kr) with importance, and is making its best efforts to protect their personal information. The Company complies with relevant regulations, such as the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (hereinafter referred to as the "Information and Communications Network Act").
Consent for Collection and Use of Personal Information:
The Company, in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information):
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and in case of a change in the purpose of use, the Company will take necessary measures, including obtaining separate consent according to Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Collaboration Inquiry Customer Management: Management of customer databases related to company service inquiries, registration of partner databases for future collaboration networking management, product services.
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information):
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period specified by law or the period agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection.
The processing and retention periods for each category of personal information are as follows:
Collaboration Inquiry Customer Management: Up to 5 years from the date of collection. However, if any of the following reasons apply, until the cessation of such reasons:
i) During the investigation or inquiry due to a violation of relevant laws, until the completion of the investigation or inquiry.
ii) In the case of outstanding rights and obligations related to website use, until the settlement of such rights and obligations.
Recruitment Process/Decision: For successful applicants, until the achievement of the purpose of use with consent. For unsuccessful applicants, with consent, up to 5 years after the end of the recruitment process (for the management of potential candidates after registration in the talent database).
Article 3 (Rights of Data Subjects and Methods of Exercising Those Rights):
Data subjects can exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
i) Request for access to personal information.
ii) Request for correction if there are errors.
iii) Request for deletion.
iv) Request for suspension of processing.
Exercise of rights can be made in writing, by phone, email, etc., and the Company will take prompt action. If there are errors in personal information, the Company will not use or provide such information until correction or deletion is completed.
The rights can be exercised through legal representatives or authorized agents. In such cases, a power of attorney according to the format provided in the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
Data subjects must not infringe on the personal information and privacy of themselves or others in violation of relevant laws.
Article 4 (Items of Personal Information Processed):
The Company processes the following personal information:
During the collaboration inquiry process in the customer support center, the following personal information may be automatically collected:
Mandatory items: Name, email, mobile phone number, company name, inquiry content.
Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information):
The Company will promptly destroy personal information when it becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose.
If personal information must be retained under other laws despite the expiration of the agreed retention period, the Company will transfer such information to a separate database or store it in a different location.
The process and method of personal information destruction are as follows:
i) Destruction process: The Company selects personal information for destruction and obtains approval from the Personal Information Protection Officer before proceeding with the destruction.
ii) Destruction method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format will be irreversibly destroyed using methods such as low-level format. Personal information recorded and stored on paper documents will be shredded or incinerated.
Article 6 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information):
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
Technical measures: Access control management of personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, installation of security programs.
Physical measures: Access control to facilities such as computer rooms and data storage rooms.
Article 7 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Devices for Personal Information):
The Company uses "cookies" to provide individualized services to users by storing and retrieving usage information.
Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (http) operating the website to the user's computer browser and may be stored on the hard disk of the user's computer.
a. Purpose of using cookies: Cookies are used to understand the visit and usage patterns of users on each service and website visited, popular search terms, secure connection status, etc., to provide optimized information to users.
b. Installation, operation, and refusal of cookies: Users can refuse cookie storage by adjusting the option settings in the Tools > Internet Options > Privacy menu of the web browser.
c. Refusal to store cookies may cause difficulties in using customized services.
